How long can I keep the DIY DJ equipment?

You can pick the equipment up on Thursday and return it on Monday. This allows you to load your playlist on the laptop provided before your event.

How do I reserve the D.I. Y. Rental Equipment and how much does it cost?

The cost is $199. Call Songbird Entertainment and pay a $50 deposit. We accept major credit cards for the deposit over the phone. The deposit is deducted from the price and you are reserved. The balance of $149 is due on your pickup date. 

Can I Play songs off my device?

Yes, we provide a extra cable to do this. You can also play songs from our extensive library on the laptop provide.

Is there a template on the laptop for us to use for our Wedding?

Yes we have a very organized Wedding template for the Ceremony & Reception that allows you to drag and drop songs into the template in advance of your event.

If your laptop does not have a song we want played is there a option to play it?

Yes we furnish a extra cable that can hook your tablet or cellphone into the mixer board so you can play off both of these devices

How hard is the D.I.Y. Rental system to setup?

All cables and components are color-coded. Our website has a tutorial to view in advance and our staff will give you a quick overview at pickup of the equipment.

If I have problems during setup of the D.I.Y. Rental system what do I do?

Go to our website: songbirddj.com, click of the Do It Yourself (D.I.Y.) tab and play the tutorial. If you still have problems call the telephone number listed and one of our techs can help you troubleshoot things. It is advantageous if you can setup prior to the event to ensure you have ample time to solve any problems. 

What type of vehicle do I need to use to pickup the D.I.Y. Rental System

A mid-size or full size car, or a SUV will work. A 4 door truck also will work
